Internet penetration in Latin America is growing fast

Latin America has the fastest growing Internet population after the Middle East. Since 2000, Latin America¥s usage growth has increased 211%, more than North America (105%), Europe (152%) and even Asia (164%).

Overall, around 80% of Latin America's upper income segment is now online. In the case of the middle - upper income segment, 50% is actually online and increasing rapidly.

And this phenomenon does not stop here! These rates are expected to stay the same for at least 3 more years.

The broadband boom

Another impressive figure is the Broadband Growth in Latin America. It has grown 70% in Argentina in the last year, 77% in Brazil and 88% in Mexico.
